SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. – D.J. Washington scored a game-high 23 points, leading Jefferson’s non-district victory over James Wood Wednesday night.
The Cougars led 40-30 at the half, and outscored James Wood 18-8 in the third quarter to push their lead to 58-38.
Jefferson connected on nine 3-pointers in the victory.
Mason Smith led the Colonels (1-4) with 20 points. Chad Potter added 13 points, and Darian Hardware chipped in with 12 for the Colonels.
