FRONT ROYAL — James Wood senior Keiana Brooks scored a game-high 21 points and had seven steals, seven rebounds and five assists to lead the Colonels’ season-opening victory over Warren County on Wednesday night.
The Colonels led 20-10 after the first quarter and stretched their lead to 35-17 at the half.
Junior Amanda Christian added a double-double with 17 points and a team-high 11 rebounds and also added three assists and three steals for the Colonels.
Grace Greene scored eight points for Wood.
