STERLING — James Wood won five matches in singles and two in doubles to defeat Conference 21 foe Park View Monday in the Colonels’ season opener.
James Wood (1-0, 1-0 Conference 21) received singles wins from Ashley Hillyard (8-4 at No. 1), Megan Hillyard (8-2 at No. 2), Katie Schott (8-0 at No. 3), Allie Cooper (8-4 at No. 4) and Abby Macknight (8-1 at No. 5).
