Handley junior Reagan Edsell was selected as the Player of the Year to highlight the All-Region 4D selections.
During the regular season. Edsell led the area in scoring (24.4 ppg), assists (4.4) and steals (7.4), ranked second in rebounds (13.1), blocks (2.2), field goal percentage (49.7) and 3-point percentage (34.3), and third in free throw percentage (78.1).
Joining Edsell on the First Team are James Wood senior Josie Russell and Millbrook senior Jaliah Jackson.
Local Second Team selections are Millbrook junior Jane Moreland and Handley senior Olivia Jett.
Local players who were named Honorable Mention are Sherando senior Josie Willett, James Wood senior Maddie Shirley and Handley junior Cameron Hobson.
Salem’s Scott Jester is the Coach of the Year.
