WINCHESTER- Millbrook outscored James Wood 41-1 in the first quarter en route to a Northwestern District win Friday night at the Colonels’ Shirley Gymnasium.
The Pioneers (15-0, 3-0 Northwestern), winners of 65 straight, did not permit a field goal until the 1:07 mark of the second quarter and led 64-5 at the half against the Colonels (7-6, 0-2).
Courtni Green (28 points) led five players in double figures. Alisha Mobley had 15, Danielle Banks had 12, Lisa Merriman had 11, and Amanda Barlow had 10.
Erica Hepner paced the Colonels with five points.
