BROADWAY– Alex Sandford scored on an assist from Meghan Hammond in the 70th minute to lead James Wood to a non-district win over Broadway Wednesday.
The Colonels (2-1) out-shot Broadway 20-4. Aided by the defense of Emma Watts, Nancy Riggleman, Sydney Arnette and Dallas Marfing, Vanessa Sousa posted her second shutout in goal.
