Girl’s Soccer: Colonels recover from early deficit

FRONT ROYAL– With the string of losing seasons the James Wood girls soccer team has sustained in recent years, the Colonels are more than used to playing with a deficit.

With all that experience, James Wood didn’t once falter when Warren County forward Karson Scates wailed a cross from Kelly Martin into the James Wood goal in the game’s first minute.

Nor did the Colonels break down when the Wildcats seemed to have complete control of the first half, knocking off 11 shots at the Colonels’ goal.
