WINCHESTER — MacKenzie Witt scored in the first half, and Mary Span made five saves as the Pioneers shut out James Wood 1-0 in Tuesday’s Northwestern District girls’ soccer match.
Witt scored off an assist by Hallie Obleas. Witt’s goal proved to be enough for Span, who notched her third shutout.
The Pioneers (4-8) outshot Wood 7-6.
