STEPHENS CITY- Host Sherando took two of three doubles matches to edge James Wood in a Northwestern District match Thursday.
Emmy Bossung and Lexi Aulabaugh won at No. 2 doubles, while Katelyn Schell and Kelly Schrader notched a crucial victory at No. 3 doubles.
Aly Myers (No. 3), Schell (No. 4) and Schrader (No. 6) won in singles for the Warriors.
James Wood got its victories from Headley Wilson (No. 1), Tarah Wampler (No. 2), Faye Schweitzer (No. 3) and the No. 1 doubles team of Wilson and Wampler.
