WINCHESTER — Chandler Brooks scored a game-high 13 points and had eight rebounds and five steals to lead James Wood to a 50-28 Northwestern District boys’ basketball victory over Skyline on Friday night.
The Colonels led 21-14 at the half and sealed their first district win of the season by outscoring the Hawks 18-4 in the fourth quarter.
Sam Costin added eight points, and Branson Ratlief and Brady Hepner added six apiece for the Colonels (7-12, 1-7 Northwestern).
Brandon Walters led Skyline (9-10, 3-4) with nine points.
