WINCHESTER — James Wood High School’s D.J. Jutze hit the right post, then watched Andrew Lloyd’s attempt to fire in the rebound sail far over the goal and into the wet night air.
Jutze grabbed his head and flipped onto his back over the lost opportunity in the 37th minute, but Lloyd just walked calmly back upfield. That’s one of the benefits of being one of the area’s most prolific goal scorers over the past three years — Lloyd believed his time would come again.
