FRONT ROYAL — There’s nothing like a little fighting to spice up a football practice.
During Wednesday’s at James Wood High School, players on the sideline voiced their approval for impressive plays, but they roared with delight as two sophomores started wrestling with each other at the end of one play. The coaching staff moved in quickly to break it up, but the uninvolved players continued to holler for several seconds afterward.
Colonels coach Mike Bolin doesn’t encourage that sort of confrontation, but he’s not going to complain about the passion behind it.
