WINCHESTER — James Wood committed seven errors — twice committing two errors on one play — in losing to Luray in the Colonels’ non-district season opener Friday.
Kierstyn Peacoe allowed just three hits in 42/3 innings, but Luray took advantage of the errors and five walks and broke open a 4-2 game with two runs each in the fifth and sixth innings.
