WINCHESTER — Lindsey Anderson went 2 for 6 with a double and drove in the winning run to lift James Wood to a 6-5 Northwestern District win over Skyline in 10 innings on Thursday night.
Kenzie Garrett doubled in the 10th and Anderson drove in Garrett with the game-winner.
Freshman Lani Spielman got the victory, working the first six innings and then re-entering in the 10th. Spielman scattered seven hits. Freshman Lauren King took over in the circle in the seventh and pitched three innings of no-hit relief with three strikeouts.
