WARRENTON — Fauquier limited James Wood to just two hits in a non-district softball victory that was shortened to six innings because of the 10-run rule on Tuesday night.
McKenzie Garrett had a single in the first inning, and Whitney Dick added a single in the fifth for the Colonels (4-6). Kierstyn Peacoe (3-5) allowed two hits, four runs (two earned) and struck out four in the loss.
