WINCHESTER — Fauquier scored three runs in the sixth inning and then five unearned runs in the seventh to rout James Wood in Wednesday’s non-district game.
The Falcons held James Wood (6-10) to just five hits. Jessy Shipman went 2 for 4 with a double to lead the Colonels. Wood pitcher Tori Armel (0-4) struck out two through 62/3 innings in the loss.
