WINCHESTER — Central scored seven runs in the seventh inning to erase a 3-1 James Wood lead on Tuesday night.
The Colonels (2-6, 1-6 Northwestern District) committed four errors in that inning, and Amanda Morrison (2-6) took the defeat despite not allowing an earned run all game.
Brea Hinegardner got the win for the Falcons, scattering nine hits over seven innings and striking out nine.
Ashley Ebersole went 3-for-4 to lead Central.
For Wood, Morgan McCarthy went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Darla Dole hit an RBI triple.
