CHARLOTTESVILLE — Six Frederick County cheerleaders were named Group 4A all-state in selections announced by the Virginia High School League on Wednesday.
James Wood — which placed third in Group 4A — had two first-team selections in senior Emily McKee and junior Toni Culp.
Millbrook — which placed fourth in Group 4A and won 4A West, Conference 21 West and Northwestern District championships — had three first-team selections in senior Caitlyn Faint, junior Kamryn Koller and freshman Lexi Himelright.
Sherando had one second-team selection, junior Ashlyn Edwards.
Each of the aforementioned girls were previously named to the 4A West Region and Conference 21 West first teams.
