PENN LAIRD– Katie Houser had 14 kills and 10 digs to lead James Wood to a 3-1 (25-13, 25-13, 23-25, 25-11) non-district volleyball victory over Spotswood on Tuesday night.
Emilee Payne added 31 assists for the Colonels.
James Wood’s Erica Hepner added four aces and a block, and Rachel Rau and Eleanor Kent also had blocks.
The Colonels (2-0) travel to face Musselman on Thursday.
