WARRENTON — James Wood dropped a tight Northwestern District match against Fauquier, falling 25-22, 25-18, 17-25, 25-22.
Jessica Putnam led the Colonels (10-6 overall) with 17 kills and four aces. Ryenne Terenzi added eight kills. Kate Poppo notched 12 digs and Katherine Lever passed out 20 assists.
The Colonels next play at Handley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
