James Wood High School senior softball catcher Aliza Judd recently signed with NCAA Division III Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg.
Judd hit .443 (31 of 70) and was second in the area with 31 RBIs last spring. She had a .511 on-base percentage. She was selected First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District and Second Team All-Region 4D.
EMU went 11-22 overall and 5-17 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference last year.
Judd will study business with an accounting concentration.
