FRONT ROYAL — The Millbrook golf team finished third in Tuesday’s Skyline Invitational on the Titus Course at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. The Pioneers had a four-player score of 315, finishing 10 strokes behind first-place Meridian.
Millbrook’s Tyler Learn finished third after shooting a 74 (Lightridge’s Ethan Trobaugh also shot 74 and took second on a tiebreaker), while teammate Trenton Conley placed fourth with a 75. Meridian’s Charles Griffith came in first, shooting a 70 to win by four strokes.
Hanover was second with a 307. Additionally, Handley placed eighth (330 strokes), Sherando came in 14th (357), Clarke County came in 17th (367) and James Wood placed 19th (403).
