CHARLES TOWN, W.VA. — Sherando tied with Washington (W.Va.) for the lowest four-player score at 317, but the Patriots were awarded the win based on their No. 5 golfer having a better score than Sherando’s at the Dr. Glenn Invitational at Sleepy Holly Golf & Country Club Thursday.

As a result, the Warriors took second in the 10-team field. James Wood took fourth with a 355.

Sherando was led by Brett Loy, who took second with a 74, three strokes behind the winner from Hedgesville (W.Va.). Josh Hogue was sixth overall with a 79. Collin Ordonez had an 80 and Jonah Pearson an 84.

James Wood was led by Hunter Hall (84), Ben Marsh (88) and Roger Repasky (89).
