WINCHESTER — The Sherando boys and girls each took second place at the 12-team Northwestern District meet on Monday at Shenandoah University’s Wilkins Center.
The Warrior boys scored 90 points to finish eight behind Fauquier (98). Handley was third with 72 points, James Wood was sixth with 42 and Millbrook did not score.
In the girls’ meet, Kettle Run won with 99 points and Sherando was second with 72. Millbrook was fifth (48), James Wood placed sixth (47) and Handley took ninth (16).
