Cheerleading - Conference 21 mini

PURCELLVILLE — A trio of local teams finished 1-2-3 at the Conference 21 mini cheer competition held at Woodgrove High School Wednesday.

Fresh off a Northwestern District title, Sherando placed first overall with 233 points and was followed by Millbrook (208.5 points) and James Wood (204 points) to lead the eight teams that were competing.

All eight will be back in action on Oct. 22 in the Conference 21 Championship at Millbrook High School. The top four teams will advance to the 4A North Region Championship which is scheduled to take place at King George High School on Nov. 1.
