2013 All-Area Girls’ Cross Country Team

Nadia Dahimene — Millbrook — Sophomore

Earning All-Conference 21, All-4A North Region and All-Group 4A state honors, Dahimene placed third in the confernece, sixth at regionals and came in 12th (19:16) at the state meet. Her state time was her personal record for the season, and Dahimene is The Winchester Star Runner of the Year.

Ashden Personius — Handley — Senior

Personius joined Dahimene as the only other area runner to finish in the top 15 in all three postseason races. She placed third at the Conference 23 meet, 12th at the 4A North Regional and came in 14th with a new PR of 19:22 at the Group 4A state meet.

Sophia Dorsey — James Wood — Freshman

An All-Conference 21 runner in her first varsity season, Dorsey placed eighth at the conference meet at Oatlands. She finished 27th at the 4A North Regional, qualifying for the Group 4A state meet where she placed 25th (19:55). She set her season PR (19:40) at Third Battle. She led the Colonels to third place at the Conference 21 meet.

Hannah Croyle — Millbrook — Sophomore

Croyle earned All-Conference 21 honors by placing ninth at Oatlands. She qualified for state after placing 21st at the 4A North Region, and she came in 27th (19:59) overall in her first state meet at Great Meadow. Croyle set her season PR (19:53) at Third Battle.

Brittany Arnold — James Wood — Senior

Earning All-Conference 21 honors, Arnold finished 15th (21:19) at Oatlands and she placed 36th overall at the 4A North Regional. She set her season PR (20:12) at the Third Battle Invitational.

Autumn Hottle — James Wood — Freshman

In her first varsity season, Hottle earned All-Conference 21 honors by placing 12th (21:19) overall at Oatlands. She came in 36th overall at the 4A North Regional. Hottle set her season PR (20:12) at Third Battle.

Nicole King — Handley — Freshman

An All-Conference 23 runner, King placed fourth overall at the conference meet in Penn Laird to qualify for the 4A North Regional in her first varsity season. She set a season PR of 20:03 at Third Battle.
