All-Area Girls’ Cross Country Team

Skylar Bragg — Clarke County — Freshman

Bragg won the Conference 35 championship in 18 minutes, 55 seconds, placed fifth at the 2A East Regional in 19:40 and earned all-state honors by finishing fourth with the best time of any area runner at any classification with a 19:20 at the Group 2A state meet. Bragg, who set her personal record of 19:13 at the Third Battle Invitational, led the Eagles to a state runner-up performance and is The Winchester Star’s Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Madison Webster — Clarke County — Freshman

One of just two all-state (top 15) runners in the area this season, Webster placed seventh at state in a personal record time of 19:40. She also placed seventh (20:03) at the 2A East Regional at Panorama Farms and placed fourth (19:20) at the Conference 35 championship.

Sophia Dorsey — James Wood — Junior

Earning All-Conference 21A honors by placing fifth (20:23), Dorsey capped her junior season by being a state qualifier for the second consecutive year. She placed 20th (20:35) at the 4A West Regional to earn an individual berth at the 4A state meet where she finished 17th (20:02). Dorsey set a personal record of 19:27 at Third Battle.

Camryn Ubert — Sherando — Freshman

Ubert turned in a solid freshman season, earning All-Conference 21A honors by finishing 11th in 20:34. She placed 29th at the 4A West Regional to help the Warriors take sixth place and came in 21st (20:16) at the Group 4A state meet to help the Warriors finish eighth. She set her personal record of 19:08 at Third Battle.

Nadia Dahimene — Millbrook — Senior

Dahimene finished as the Conference 21A runner-up (20:00), leading the Pioneers to the conference title. She placed 17th (20:23) at the 4A West Regional, leading Millbrook to third place to earn a state berth. At states, Dahimene placed 36th (20:46) as the Pioneers placed seventh.

Sophia Snead — Clarke County — Junior

Snead earned All-Conference 35 honors by finishing fifth (19:42) and missed all-region honors (top 15) by one second as she finished 16th (21:01) at the 2A East Regional. At the Group 2A state meet, Snead placed 18th (20:33, a personal record) to help the Eagles finish as the state runner-up.

Hannah Croyle — Millbrook— Senior

Earning All-Conference 21A honors, Croyle finished eighth (20:31) to help the Pioneers win the conference championship at Woodgrove High School. She placed 26th (20:48) at the 4A West Region to help the Pioneers finish third and came in 38th (20:31) at the Group 4A state meet to help Millbrook place seventh. She set a season PR of 19:54 at Millbrook’s Third Battle Invitational.
