Girls' Cross Country - Konyar places 8th at Oatlands

LEESBURG — James Wood sophomore Kenzie Konyar finished eighth overall at the 60-team Oatlands Invitational on Saturday.

Konyar, who led James Wood to 35th as a team, finished with a time of 19 minutes, 42 seconds to finish in the top 10 of the 3.1-mile race that featured 423 runners.

Millbrook, led by Maddie Lloyd (69th, 21:29), placed 27th.

Tuscarora senior Emma Wolcott won the race in 18:52. Loudoun Valley won the team title with 104 points. Chantilly (204) and Tuscarora (220) followed in the top three.
