Boys’ Cross Country - Konyar leads way at Oatlands

LEESBURG — James Wood senior Kevin Konyar placed 89th at the Oatlands Invitational on Saturday.

Konyar, who led the Colonels to 37th place as a team, finished in 17:52 in a race that featured 499 runners and 74 teams.

Millbrook’s John Pullen (161st, 18:30) paced the Pioneers to 42nd in the team standings.

Loudoun Valley, led by overall winner Sam Affolder (15:43), won the team title with 46 points. Green Hope (117) and Salesianum School (194) rounded out the top three.
