Cross Country - Hood College Meet

FREDERICK, Md. — The James Wood girls placed second and Handley took fourth at the 20-team Hood College Invitational on Saturday at Utica Park.

The Colonels' Kenzie Konyar led the way individually among local runners, placing third in a time of 20 minutes, 10 seconds. Faith Meininger of River Hill won in 19:32 and Ava Gordon of Rock Ridge was second in 19:43.

James Wood's boys placed sixth out of 24 teams.
