Boys Cross Country finishes 6th and Girls 7th

Winchester — The Northwestern District cross country meet is over a month away, but area teams got their first look at each other in Thursday’s Judges Classic.
The dominant colors near the front in both the boys’ and girls’ races turned out to be Sherando’s red and black.
The Warriors’ boys, led by the senior trio of Danny Stiefvater, Scott Guichard, and Colby Witt, defended their title, and Sherando’s girls dominated the rest of the field with their overall depth in Thursday’s races on the Kernstown Battlefield Course.
