Dallmann’s versatility key for the Colonels

WINCHESTER — Coaches will sometimes compliment an athlete by saying, “He’ll do anything. If we asked him to run through a wall, he’d do it.”
Jordan Dallmann just goes through walls unintentionally. But as for what takes place on the football field, there isn’t much that the senior hasn’t done. Dallmann has taken snaps at running back, wide receiver, cornerback and free safety, and he sometimes returns punts.
More important than his versatility is the fact that’s he’s making plays no matter what his assignment. Dallmann leads the team in receiving (his 14 catches, 378 yards and six touchdowns are all team highs), he’s second on the Colonels in rushing attempts and yardage (71 carries for 328 yards and one touchdown), he’s second in all-purpose yardage (779 yards), and he ranks third in scoring (42 points). On defense, he’s tops in interceptions (three) and pass breakups (five) and sixth in tackles (38).
