All-Area Football Team
James Wood High School was represented by 7 players on the 2008 All-Area Football Team. The Colonels were represented by John Kent (OL) and Andrew Lloyd (K) on the All-Area 1st Team Offense. The Colonels were represented by 5 players on the All-Area Defensive Team. Jared Broughear (DE), Danny Cooper (LB), Jordan Dallmann (DB), and Andrew Lloyd (P) all were 1st Team selections. Three-year starter Kelsey Shannon earned a 2nd Team Linebacker nomination on the All-Area Team.
