WINCHESTER — James Wood first-year football coach Mike Bolin believes junior Trae Tinsman belongs on the short list of top quarterbacks in the Northwestern District.

Against Brentsville Friday night, Tinsman’s play certainly supported his belief.

Tinsman threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in the Colonels’ 35-14 homecoming victory over the Tigers at Jerry L. Kelican Stadium.

A week after rushing for 327 yards in a victory over Warren County, James Wood saw a window of opportunity to do something else against Brentsville.
