WINCHESTER — James Wood topped Millbrook in the Northwestern District dual match opener for both teams Thursday at Rock Harbor Golf Club.

James Wood junior Will Holmes, who was not able to complete his round in Monday’s Northwestern District mini tournament because of foot tendonitis, returned to action and shot a 2-over 38 for the day’s lowest score. James Wood was also led by Russell Repasky (42), Taylor Blake (43) and Roger Respasky and Thomas Papastavrou, who each shot a 44.

Millbrook was led by Brian McGuire and Mitch Ulich, who each shot a 43, Matt Sousa (45) and Conner Pierson (49).
