Colonels Golf Tops Sherando

FRONT ROYAL — The James Wood golf team defeated Sherando 165-172 in the opening Northwestern District dual for both teams Monday at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.

James Wood’s Will Holmes — who shot a 1-over 37 on the Red Nine — was the individual winner, and also leading the Colonels were Roger Repasky (40) and Noah Keller and Jake Akeley, who each shot 44.

Sherando was led by Brett Loy (39), Jonah Pearson (43) and Mason Scott and Collin Ordonez, who each shot 45.
