Holmes Wins Charles Town Tournament

CHARLES TOWN, W.VA. — James Wood senior Will Holmes won the individual title at the 11-team Dr. Glenn Invitational Thursday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club to lead the Colonels to second place.

Holmes shot a 2-over 74 to lead the Colonels to a four-player score of 334, three strokes behind Washington (W.Va.), which shot a 331. Sherando was fifth with a 346.

Also aiding James Wood were Jake Akeley and Taylor Blake (86 each) and Roger Repasky (88).

Sherando’s Brett Loy placed fifth with an 80. Noah Ford and Mason Scott each added 88s for the Warriors.
