Posted a stroke average of 78.0. Placed 13th at the Class 2 state tournament (78-75 — 153). Tied for fourth at the Region 2B tournament (75, first team all-region). Tied for 6th at Bull Run District tournament (83). Shot a 76 at the Curly Licklider Invitational to tie for 12th.

Raul Viza-Fernandez

Clarke — Junior

Posted a stroke average of 79.0. Placed 7th at the Region 2B tournament (77, 2nd team all-region). Won Bull Run District tournament in a playoff after shooting an 80 in regulation. Shot a 79 against Madison County at Blue Ridge on Aug. 10.

Zach Koontz

Clarke — Junior

Posted a stroke average of 77.0. Tied for 16th at the Region 2B tournament (83). Tied for 6th at Bull Run District tournament (83). Led all area golfers at the Curley Licklider (75, tied for 10th overall) and Skyline Invitational (75, tied for 9th).

Dylan Vess

Clarke — Junior

Posted a stroke average of 82.0. Shot a 90 at the Bull Run tournament. Shot an 81 against Madison County at Blue Ridge on Aug. 10 and 82 at the Curly Licklider Invitational.

Tyler Mounts

Wood — Senior

Posted a stroke average of 79.0. Tied for 5th at the Class 4 Northwestern District tournament (80). Tied for 10th at the Region 4C tournament (81). Tied for 2nd at 1st district mini at SVGC and took 2nd alone at 2nd district mini at Fauquier Springs (72 at each course). Medalist in three nine-hole matches.

Ryan Judy

Sherando — Senior

Posted a stroke average of 81.9. Tied for 5th at the Class 4 Northwestern District tournament (80). Shot 91 at the Region 4C tournament. Shot a 75 in the first round of the Bryan Gunter Memorial en route to posting the best local finish (157 over two rounds).

Brandon Nice

Sherando — Junior

Posted a stroke average of 84.5. Placed 10th at the Class 4 Northwestern District tournament (84). Shot 94 at the Region 4C tournament. Shot an 80 at the first district mini at SVGC to place 6th.
