Golf: James Wood defeats Heritage
LEESBURG — James Wood recorded a four-player score of 168 to defeat Heritage (174) by six strokes in a golf match on the back nine (par 36) at the River Creek Country Club on Thursday.
James Wood senior Jake Bursey shot a 1-under 35 to win medalist honors by one stroke over his teammate, Brayden Rockwell, who shot a 36.
