lsJames Wood High School 17-year-old senior

Sport: Golf

Parents: Jennifer and Todd Stiles

Hometown: Clear Brook

What do you love about golf?: Spending time with the people I play with.

Most memorable moment in golf: When I was at Pinehurst (host of four U.S. Opens) for a week with one of my friends, getting training and help. That was two years ago. Going out and playing 18 holes and walking every day was great.

Most embarrassing moment in golf: Hitting my tee and not the ball off the tee box on my first hole at a tournament. That was a year ago. I got a head shake from my dad.

Most difficult moment in golf: The last hole at every match, when your whole team is standing there watching you.

Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: My grandfather Alan Young; because he just passed away. He was a very helpful and thoughtful guy. [Singer] Megan Moroney; I want to know where she gets all her clothes from. And Donald Trump; just because he’s awesome.

Biggest athletic influence: My coach from Winchester Country Club, Trent Passmore. He’s always available to help and he’s flexible with trying to get you scheduled in.

Favorite teacher: Ms. Katelyn Troupe (now Dubyk), my third-grade teacher at Stonewall Elementary. You can always have fun in her class, and at the same time you were always bonding.

Favorite athlete: (Dallas Cowboys quarterback) Dak Prescott

Favorite team: Dallas Cowboys

Favorite movie: “50 First Dates”

Favorite TV show: “Gilmore Girls”

Favorite song: “Am I Okay” by Megan Moroney

Favorite food: Green beans

Worst thing you’ve ever eaten: Mashed potatoes

Plans after high school: To go to Montana State to continue my medical field career. I like being able to help people. I’m interested in radiology.
