Wood Volley Sweeps Hawks

FRONT ROYAL — The James Wood volleyball team easily defeated Skyline 3-0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-17) on the road Thursday evening.

The Colonels (14-3, 3-0 Northwestern District) were led by junior libero Ally Iden’s 20 digs and freshman setter Megan Hillyard’s 15 assists.

Junior Ashley Hillyard added nine kills, freshman Leilani Burch chipped in with seven kills and senior Brandi Griffith totaled four aces in the win.
