WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL - Tierney named Co-MVP for Pacers
AIKEN, S.C. — University of South Carolina-Aiken junior Hannah Tierney was named volleyball Co-Most Valuable Player at the Pacers’ athletic banquet on Tuesday night.
Tierney, a 6-foot middle blocker and former James Wood High School standout (class of 2011), had 161 kills, 87 digs and a team-high 94 blocks for South Carolina-Aiken (19-13, 9-9 in the Peach Belt Conference). She also ranked second on her team with 26 aces.
Tierney earned All-Northwestern District honors with 201 kills, 90 digs and 82 blocks during her senior season at James Wood.
