ROMNEY, W.VA. — James Wood needed five sets for the second consecutive evening and again pulled out a victory by topping Hampshire 18-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-8, 15-9.
Taylor Heishman had 16 kills to lead the Colonels (8-2). Ashanti Day added 10 kills. Megan Hillyard passed out 39 assists, while Kirsten Mullin and Lizzy Salata had seven digs each.
The Colonels next host Sherando on Tuesday.
