CHARLES TOWN — Taylor Heishman led James Wood with nine kills as the Colonels swept Washington (W.Va.) in a non-district match.

The Colonels won 25-11, 25-18, and 25-13.

Jessica Putnam added five kills, and Morgan Biggs and Leilani Burch added four kills apiece for the Colonels (4-0).

Katherine Lever led the Colonels with 26 assists, and both Biggs and Taylor Robinson had four aces.

James Wood travels to face Woodgrove in a Conference 21 West match tonight.
