Wood volleyball defeats Heritage in season opener
LEESBURG — Jessica Putnam pounded 14 kills as James Wood opened its volleyball season with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-22 sweep of Heritage on Tuesday.
Morgan Biggs added eight kills and a team-leading four blocks for the Colonels. Yeakley Pullen led with 17 digs and eight aces.
