James Wood nets 3-1 volleyball triumph
WILLIAMSPORT, Md. — Jessica Putnam smacked 15 kills as James Wood knocked off Williamsport (Md.) 25-18, 20-25, 25-19 and 25-20 in volleyball action on Wednesday night.
Kristyna Van Sickler added 12 kills, while Morgan Biggs had nine for the Colonels (2-0). Katherine Lever dished out 19 assists and Taylor Morgan added 13. Hanna Plasters cranked four aces. Yeakley Pullen notched 31 digs.
James Wood hosts unbeaten Handley (4-0) tonight at 7 p.m.
