James Wood sweeps away Liberty in volleyball
BEALETON — James Wood won every set by at least 10 points in defeating Liberty 3-0 on Thursday in Class 4 Northwestern District volleyball action.
The Colonels (14-7, 7-3 Northwestern District) won by the scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-14.
James Wood was led by Katie Lever (13 assists), Hanna Plasters (10 assists), Jessica Putnam (nine kills, four aces), Morgan Biggs (six kills) and Kate Poppo (five aces).
