Wood volleyball tops Hedgesville

Hedgesville, W.Va. — Emily Shannon had 16 kills and five aces to lead the James Wood High School volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-21) victory against Hedgesville (W.Va.) Wednesday night.
Also leading the Colonels (3-0) were Cady Schaffer (14 digs, four aces), Hannah Tierney (five kills, three blocks), and Carly Mullen (26 assists).
