Colonels cruise to win over Bulldogs

WINCHESTER — Emily Shannon had 15 kills to lift the James Wood High School volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-14) non-district victory over Martinsburg (W.Va.) Tuesday night.
Also leading the Colonels (7-4) were Peyton Clark (five blocks), Carly Mullin (28 assists, three aces), Cady Shaffer (14 digs), and Hannah Tierney and Megan Crabtree (three aces each).
