Volleyball: James Wood 3, Handley 0

WINCHESTER — James Wood cruised to a 25-8, 25-20, 25-10 sweep against Handley on the Colonels' Senior Night and clinched the Class 4 Northwestern District title on Tuesday.

The Colonels improved to 20-2 overall, 7-0 in the district. Handley dropped to 7-13, 2-6. James Wood travels to Sherando in its regular-season finale on Thursday. Region 4D play opens next Tuesday.
